To re-set your IT password:
- If you know your password and want to change it, go to https://myaccount.microsoft.com.
- If you ever forget your password you can reset it by selecting the 'reset password?' link on the University sign-in page, or by going directly to to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com. You'll then need to follow this process on the screen:
- Enter your University username with @bradford.ac.uk appended (for example: jrblogg2@bradford.ac.uk), enter the validation characters displayed on the screen and select Next.
- Select the method by which you want to receive your verification code (the list of methods you set up when you registered for SSPR will be displayed).
- Enter the verification code sent via whichever method you chose above, and select Next.
- Enter a new password, and enter it again to confirm it.
- Select Finish. You should see a confirmation message on the screen
- If you see a message that you are not registered for self-service password reset (SSPR), please call IT Servicedesk on 01274 233333.
Note: If you have configured and connected any devices for accessing your University email or the University WiFi, then once you've set a new password you’ll also need to go into the settings on the device and update your password there.
