When a Reading List is sent for review the Library will check the list to ensure that we hold the latest editions and have sufficient of copies in stock (decided by the number of students taking the module and the importance you have set). If a list is not sent for review it could result in insufficient copies of books/eBooks being available for the students. It is therefore really important to send your reading list for review if:

  • Creating a new reading list
  • Adding books/book chapters/eBooks/journals/journal articles
  • Changing the importance of a bookmark

If you make small adjustments to a published reading list which does not impact on the library purchasing decisions, (e.g. Typographical amendments to bookmarks on lists, Updating an incorrect URL, Adding a new Freely available weblink, Reorganising the structure of a list, Deleting bookmarks from Reading lists), it is permissable not to send the list for review.
